A gold Guttapusal, necklace of bunches of pearls. Bunches of pearls (gutta) pierced as beads (pusal). The whole is set with emeralds, rubies and diamonds. This ornament form and name originated in areas close to the ancient pearl fisheries along the Coromandel coast.
