These elaborately decorated gold broches, based on the KARNPHUL and studded with white sapphire and a rim of pearls, were worn by royal woman in North India. The decoration is depicting a cresent moon and a tullip.
The long history of Indian culture can be traced in many things, including the variety of jewellery. Indian Jewellery celebrates the human body and each part of decoration is symbolic.
