Shipping 

At Van Gelder Jewellery, we take great care to ensure your piece arrives safely and beautifully. All in-stock orders are shipped within 1–2 business days.
If an item is not immediately available, we will personally contact you with an estimated delivery timeframe.

We are pleased to offer complimentary shipping on all orders.

All domestic orders are shipped securely via FedEx. While we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time, deliveries typically take place Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. You will receive updates as your order makes its way to you.

Every shipment is fully tracked and requires a signature upon delivery, ensuring your jewellery reaches you safely. If you happen to miss a delivery, our courier will make two additional attempts.

You will receive a tracking reference as soon as your order has been dispatched. Once your order has been signed for, your jewellery will be under your full care.

Not all pieces featured online are available to view in our gallery. If there is a specific jewel you would like to see or try on, please contact us in advance at concierge@vangelderjewellery.com Our team will be delighted to confirm availability and prepare your selected pieces for your visit.

Should you wish to explore our jewellery in person but are unable to visit our gallery, we are happy to assist you in finding one of our trusted retail partners near you.

Returns

We hope you are delighted with your Van Gelder Jewellery purchase. However, should you wish to exchange or return your item, please follow the steps below.

1 – Requesting a Return or Exchange
Please email us at concierge@vangelderjewellery.com with your request to exchange or return your piece. Kindly include your name, home address, order number, and phone number. Our team will respond within 48 hours and provide you with our return address and further instructions.

2 – Preparing Your Return
When returning your jewellery, please ensure the piece, along with its original packaging and certificate is carefully packed in a sturdy box.

We recommend the following:

  • Place the jewellery back in its Van Gelder Jewellery pouch and then into the presentation box, adding bubble wrap or soft tissue paper for protection.

  • Include the certificate of authenticity and place the presentation box in a smaller pouch or bag before placing it all inside the shipping box.

  • You may reuse the box your order arrived in.

  • Make sure everything is secure and will not move during transit.

  • Seal the package carefully before sending.

3 – Shipping Your Return
Return shipping costs are not covered by Van Gelder Jewellery. You are responsible for returning the piece safely to us. We recommend using a secure, insured, and trackable shipping method that provides proof of posting, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.

4 – Return Inspection
Once your return has been received (within 14 days from the date of delivery), it will be carefully inspected by our team.
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse returns if:

  • The jewellery is not in its original condition,

  • Any part of the packaging (such as the box or pouch) is missing, or

  • The item shows any signs of wear.

5 – Refunds
Once your return has passed our quality checks, we will process your refund for the value of your order (excluding any shipping costs, duties, or taxes covered by us when shipping your purchase).
Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for your order, within 30 days. Please note that Van Gelder Jewellery is not responsible for any fees charged by your bank or financial institution.
